General manager of a trade company once said: ''The basic goal of private entrepreneurship remains the same as always - to produce required goods and services, to provide for satisfactory return of invested capital and to succeed as economic entity. However, new dimension, which should be taken into consideration, is the new business balance in shape of social approval. A successful business organization must have the feeling for ethics just as for economy.'' The notion and meaning of the corporative social responsibility of the company refers to the entire spectre of its activities and relations being established in this process. Once the accomplishments of the company were measured exclusively in financial terms. However, nowadays it is clear that new age has brought additional challenges so that it becomes necessary for companies when bringing business decisions to take into consideration also social and ecological consequences of their decisions. In Đuro Đaković Holding d.d. we are motivated to take part in this process in such a way that we bring our business decisions having in mind people, environment and improvement of quality of life in community in which we live and develop our activities. ĐĐ Holding d.d. is vigorously included in the whole row of socially useful projects, financially supporting humanitarian and social institutions, giving support to projects having wider social significance through diverse forms of sponsoring, such as: Đuro Đaković Prize for the best students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering ĐĐ Holding d.d. has taken over the obligation of financing and general renewal and equipping of engineer training classroom at Faculty for Mechanical Engineering with 21 computers.

- Systematic program of development of environment protection awareness among our employees
- Environment management policy - application of ecologically acceptable technologies and recycling materials for existing production processes. All associations within Đuro Đaković system conduct their business in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and some of them also by Environment Management norm ISO 14001, with tendency the same should apply also for the rest of the ĐĐ companies.
Our objective is to help those who need help. Therefore, we support certain organizations, stimulate and promote sports and cultural engagement of people and outstanding individuals, appreciating their wish to achieve positive results in their activities.
