Đuro Đaković Holding d.d. was founded in 1991 with drawing up of Articles of Association. The founders were Croatian Development Fund, Croatian Railways and the former Combine Đuro Đaković.
Pursuant to Law on Trade Companies work organizations of Đuro Đaković organized and transformed themselves into stock corporations or companies with limited liability, and transferred their capital into Croatian Development Fund, later Croatian Privatization Fund, which invested its shares into Đuro Đaković Holding d.d. and became majority proprietor. Đuro Đaković Holding d.d and enterprises within the company got title of propriety.
In 1993 pursuant to Law on Privatization reassessment of the value of the companies was carried out, and the authorized capital for Đuro Đaković Holding d.d was set up on 262.746.000 DM (former 1.084.89.621 HRD), and was entitled to function of management with 20 enterprises.
Since then shares or participations in the companies are being gradually sold out, so that nowadays in the Industrial Zone of Đuro Đaković some enterprises having name of Đuro Đaković are no longer propriety of Đuro Đaković Holding d.d.
Nowadays group Đuro Đaković consists of Đuro Đaković Holding d.d as mother company and seven enterprises in which Đuro Đaković Holding d.d is the majority share proprietor.
One of the future goals of Đuro Đaković Holding d.d is continuation of the sale of shares and participation in companies and displacement of the capital.
