In accordance with the current business plan, ĐĐ Montaža, one of the leading Croatian enterprises in the field of erection works on energy and industrial plants, bridges and steel structures, starts up the new business year also on the newly acquired markets.
End of the last month ĐĐ Montaža signed a contract with the German company Steinmüller Instadsetzung Kraftwerke (SIK) , rounding up segment of works connected with manufacture, dismantling of the existing and installation of the new equipment on the Power Plant Belchatow 4 in central Poland. For the time being, this plant is regarded as the largest coal fired power plant in Europe, having total capacity of 4400 MW. In the coming nine months 150 workers of ĐĐ Montaža will be engaged on this project, having total value of 4.421.643,00 ?.
Besides the project in Poland, ĐĐ Montaža also started up works on erection of flue gas channels on site of the new coal fired power plant in the largest East European complex Marica-Iztok in Bulgaria, together with members of the Austrian Energy & Environment Group. In addition, a group of ĐĐ Montaža experts for supervision of erection works will begin with their work within the framework of new contract with the German company Babcock Borsig Service at the end of January on construction of the gas fired power plant within industrial complex for production of aluminium in Tawelaahu in United Arab Emirates.
This year business plan of the company foresees significant increase in export of services when compared with the previous years. These jobs will ensure complete engagement of production and erection capacities of the company in the first half year of 2009.
