Đuro Đaković Aparati d.d. continues with positive business trends in all areas of its scope of activities also in 2006. Within program of installation of the IC heating of industrial plants, and after several successful installations within Đuro Đaković, very important contracts with larger companies all over Croatia have been concluded. In this way, the company became market leader for this type of heating. In 2007, realization of the heating project for total circa 35.000 m2 of industrial space is being expected to be realized. In the area of servicing, and armature revision, installation of technical and medical gases , company has established cooperation with leading companies in production and distribution of medical and technical gases (Messer, UTP Pula, Montkemija, Pliva, Crosco etc.). The cooperation with Ministry of Defence of Republic of Croatia (MORH) has also been established, signing the contract on delivery of goods and maintenance in the year 2007. Besides all these things company has become by its quality significant provider of services in the field of metalworking, and has concluded several contracts with foreign partners in France and Germany realizing export in the amount of 37,52% of its total turnover. Quality, price and on time delivery of the metalworking products open more and more gates for cooperation with companies of the Group Đuro Đaković. Capability of the company to react to market requirements can be seen on the ongoing projects - diving equipment with gas mixtures 100 m deep on the only boat of this kind in Croatia. The new management since September 2006 upholds market orientation and flexibility in contracting without neglecting relationships within the company itself. Wages have been increased, and the reaction of the employees was extraordinarily favourable, so that the number of sick leaves plummeted immediately. Several new employees were engaged, but constant need for young experts remained as before. It is expected that shareholders will recognize goals and trends, which the company decisively promotes, and support them at the meeting, so that market competence of the company increases and becomes more efficient, positioning the company on the place it deserves - among leading companies in its field of activity.
