Bilfinger Berger Power Services GmbH is the new major shareholder of Đuro Đaković Montaža d.d.
Today in Slavonski Brod a Share Purchase Agreement, that is to say purchase of 126.594 shares, or 50 % plus one share of DDM, and Cooperation Framework Agreement between group Bilfinger Berger Power Services GmbH and the group Đuro Đaković were signed.
Agreements were signed by Mr. Zdravko Stipetić, president of ĐĐH d.d. Board, Ms. Marija Tolić, member of ĐĐH d.d. Board, and Mr. Gerd Lesser, president of BBPS GmbH Board, Mr. Eric Decker, vice-president and the authorized agent of BBPS Board. Putting of these signatures on the agreements the renowned German company became major shareholder of Đuro Đaković Montaža d.d.
After sale ĐĐH retained 15, 3% of ĐĐM d.d. shares.
The new major shareholder accompanied the newly signed agreements with issue of appropriate bank guarantees for retention of business activity and number of employees for at least 5 years, which guarantees were presented with the business plan for period from 2009 to 2013 as constituent part of their bid.
Bilfinger Berger Power Services GmbH is part of Bilfinger Berger AG, large German group with the seat in Mannheim. It employs more than 60 thousand workers, and its annual turnover reaches approximately 10 billion EUR.
ĐĐH d.d. management expressed their satisfaction with signing of these agreements and their belief that the new majority shares owner will guarantee future development of ĐĐM d.d. and the group Đuro Đaković, broadening of their scope of works and breakthrough on new markets for the benefit of all shareholders, employees and the local society.
Putting signatures on Cooperation Framework Agreement BBPS GmbH and the group Đuro Đaković led by ĐĐH d.d. have settled principles of mutual cooperation with the objective of maximal utilization of resources of both contractual partners.
In the name of the new owner, Mr. Gerd Lesser expressed hopes for continuation of long and approved cooperation - this time as ĐĐM owner- and expectations for favorable development of this cooperation also in future. Besides realization of already existing assignments ĐĐM will become future centre of excellence of BBPS for southeast Europe.
The solemn signing of agreements was attended by high dignitaries of social, political and economic life of Republic of Croatia and Brodsko posavska county.
