ĐĐ Termoenergetska postrojenja d.o.o. (ĐĐ TEP) has successfully completed the business year 2006. The realized total turnover in 2006 amounted to 217.000.000, 00 kuna, realized profit of 22.740.000, 00 kuna and the paid profit tax to Republic of Croatia in the amount of 4.078.000,00 kuna assorts ĐĐ TEP d.o.o. into one of the most successful companies in the county of Brodsko posavska.
The scope of contracted production for 2007 and 2008, projection of new contracts and market requirements in the next year has stimulated the owner and the management to start up a new investment and development cycle.
Namely, based on the condition of the power production plants in European Union and the projected needs for energy in the coming 15 years, conclusion was reached that new plants or substitutes for circa 400.000 MW of energy resources were necessary, and that 400 billion of EURO must be ensured for investments in this area.
The present production capacities of the existing societies in Europe are not sufficient to realize planned investments. Because ĐĐ TEP d.o.o. is a world known and appreciated company in Europe in the field of boiler and power production equipment ĐĐ TEP management started with expansion of its production capacities.
To be able to realize the increase of production capacities investment plan into new machines and production facilities in the value of 2.500.000 - 3.000.000 Euro was made and accepted.
As planned ĐĐ TEP d.o.o. hired from ĐĐ Holding former workshops of the Rolling Stock Factory with total covered production area of 8.000 m2. The plan for employment of new 150 workers was made. Besides pipe fitters and welders, a certain number of highly educated experts for other services and design bureau will be engaged. Due to fact that ĐĐ TEP uses services and capacities of other ĐĐ Holding d.d. affiliates, it is real to expect increase of cooperation services within and outside of the ĐĐ Holding d.d. system.
For the purpose of realization of the planned development and employment of new labour force, we expect to be able to buy new storage area, continually used by ĐĐ TEP d.o.o. in the past 50 years for storage of its repro material.
We also expect from our community and other factors in our environment to get support in realization of the planned investments, not in material or financial sense, but in readiness to support preservation of stabile and traditional boiler production and manufacture of energy producing equipment within Đuro Đaković system.
